When you contact UpCountry Plots through live chat or email, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, contact details, budget, preferred plot size, buying purpose and the content of your enquiry.

How we use your information

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss property options, arrange follow-up or a site visit, maintain relevant correspondence, and protect the website and our communications from misuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

The website uses Tawk.to to provide live chat. When the chat service loads or you use it, Tawk.to may process chat messages and technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, approximate location, referring page, and visit date and time. Tawk.to may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the service.

The homepage embeds Google Maps. When the map loads or you interact with it, your browser connects to Google, which may receive technical and usage information and use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Email enquiries are also processed by the email services used by you and UpCountry Plots. These providers process information under their own privacy terms.

Forms, accounts and analytics

The website does not currently provide a native enquiry form or user accounts, and it does not currently use a separate website analytics service. The Tawk.to chat service and Google Maps embed may still collect the information described above.

Sharing and retention

Information may be accessible to service providers that support our communications and website features, and may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or security. Enquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide follow-up, maintain business records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Third-party providers apply their own retention practices.

Your choices

You can avoid sending personal information through live chat and can restrict cookies or other site data through your browser settings, although this may affect the chat or map. You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information associated with your enquiry, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements.
